Scholarships:
The Rotary Club of South Pasadena is pleased to announce this year's winners of our annual scholarships we give to four graduating seniors going on to college. Two recipients are selected from South Pasadena High school and the other two recipients are selected from Wilson High School in El Sereno.
The 2024 Susan Foster Award for Community Involvement: a $2,000 scholarship

The 2024 South Pasadena Rotary Foundation Wagner Family Awarded for Community and School Service: a $1,000 scholarship
Awarded to Danis Y. Rivera and Emily A. Ramirez
The 2024 South Pasadena Rotary Foundation Wagner Family Rotary Scholarship for the Fine Arts: a $1,000 scholarship

The Rotary Club of South Pasadena gives grants to eligible organizations at the beginning of each calendar year. Funding for these grants come from the proceeds of our annual Rotary fundraiser “Taste of South Pasadena”.
All nonprofits in our region supporting local efforts are encouraged to apply for a Community
Service Grant. The Rotary Club is especially interested this year in assisting organizations impacted by the pandemic. Grant applications are now being accepted through March 31, 2024. Find the application here.
On April 1st, 2021, the club handed out $10,000 in grants very worthwhile charities: Union Station Homeless Services; Door of Hope; East Meets West Parent Education Association: The Giving Space; Hathaway-Sycamores; Ronald McDonald House (Pasadena) and Mending Kids International.

SPECIAL GRANT - Emergency Restaurant Grants in response to COVID-19
April 1, 2020 Thanks to the generosity of our Rotarians and the community thus far,
we awarded $14,000 in grants to all of the fourteen restaurants that applied. We are
so appreciative of the community and local groups (WISPPA) for your donations!
